You'll learn several ways to use your paddle to keep the kayak upright in more challenging waters. Our outing will be in protected waters of Monterey Bay Sanctuary where we'll learn the beach entry and exit skills. Prerequisites: 13 years and older Kayak I Class includes: One pool session One day ocean outing Students Provide: Water shoes/booties Windproof/waterproof unlined jacket Light sweater (no cotton) Towel Potluck lunch Cost: $70 Instruction, $35 Materials Fee Cost Includes: Instruction Kayak, paddle, wetsuit, PFD, helmet, sprayskirt, spray jacket Schedule: Fri 6pm-9pm, Sun 8am-2pm
