Requirements:
Children and parents who want to participate must be comfortable
enough in the water to be able to swim 200 yards and trend water
for 10 minutes. Minimum age is 10 years old.
Days to Meet:
Classes are on Saturdays and Sundays over the course of three
consecutive weekends. Parents or guardians must meet with their
children on the first meeting of the class to watch an introductory
video and fill out forms.
Dates:
July 12th & 13th, July 26th and 27th, and August 2nd and
3rd
Class Size:
Class minimum is 4 and maximum of 8. Adventure Sports reserves
the right to cancel any class if the class minimum is not met.
Cost:
The class cost is $170 for instruction, $200 for rentals and
books (the PADI Open Water Crewpak). We will reduce the rental
fee by $60 with a $200 gear purchase. Any dives done off a boat
are $85/person for 2 dives.
